Audio Show Deluxe 2026
What a pleasure two weekends ago to once again put on a show at the Audio Show Deluxe! We celebrated 10 years in business with two rooms: “the big one”, and “the small one”. In the former we went all-out with big sound an immersive lighting (10 pillars of light for our 10 years, if anyone was counting), and we couldn’t be happier with the positive reaction to our smaller room, which many visitors called the best sound of the show!
Huge thanks to Kris and Stu for presenting us with an amazing Orpheus Lab replica birthday cake. That really put a smile on our faces and will be a moment to remember. We can’t wait to see what these guys come up with when we turn 20, so bring on 2036!
But first, let’s recap what we treated visitors to in 2026:
“Boyer has outdone themselves this year, firstly, the room looked fantastic with the lighting and plants, secondly, the sound simply oozes out of the speakers with a liquid fluidity.”
“Listening to some of Hans Zimmer’s Dune soundtrack on this proved to be a very powerful experience.”
We really enjoyed ourselves this year in building an immersive atmosphere of light and sound in our big room. Admittedly too much — early in the day on Saturday we spent a solid 2 hours in there without stepping out, and our eyes had adjusted to the dark to such an extent that we went a little TOO immersive. We stepped out around midday into the blinding light of the outside, and upon returning to the room… couldn’t see a thing! We promptly adjusted this, and hopefully early visitors had a chance to return later to see and hear the room at its best — on Sunday especially, the system had really settled in and was sounding fantastic.
Big thanks to Brandon Lauer of Wadax for his tireless DJ duty, always narrating his music choices and taking visitors on a journey. We couldn’t ask for a better host and our room wouldn’t have felt the same without Brandon’s storytelling. Also a big thanks for his speaker placement expertise, for which he has the finest set of ears we know. Some of his playlist highlights:
AURORA - A Different Kind Of Human
DUNE: Part Two - Worm Ride
SYML - DIM (Recorded at St. Mark's Cathedral)
Club For Five - Äitien Äidit
Lionel Ritchie - All Night Long (All Night)
Ólafur Arnalds - re:member
FKA Twigs - Eusexua
“Celebrating its first decade, high-end distributor Boyer once more took the prize for making some of the best sounds at the show. That it did so in both its larger and smaller rooms suggests the company’s getting things right. The consistent elements in both rooms were Kroma Atelier loudspeakers, Bassocontinuo equipment support and a lot of Shunyata Research power, grounding, and cable system. But whether it was the smaller room (with Engström’s ARNE amplifier and the new Cinnamon Galle DAC) or the larger (with a three-box Wadax Studio Player, clock and power supply and Orpheus Lab H Two preamp and H Three mono power amps), both showed what ten years of careful system design can deliver!”
“…this was probably the most realistic sounding setup at the show, no matter the track, this setup handled it with ease. There is a huge sense of space, the layering, detail, and sheer scale is impressive. This is the kind of system that lets you get lost in the sound, it immerses you, and you are part of the soundscape. It renders music in such a natural way, transporting you into the heart of the recording yet, it doesn’t sound like it’s trying to show off, or be flashy. Nothing is trying to fight for your attention, every part of the mix is given the same attention, and it is a sound that just flows effortlessly.”

Our big system was big, with the total cost coming in around £475k.
Note: there was an error on our event price list for the Bassocontinuo Golia rack; the single-width we used is £17,275, not £28,315!
So it was a pleasure to have the opportunity this year to put together a second room, this one with a comparatively “humble” system. Many visitors called this their favourite of the show, with the award-winning Engström ARNE integrated amplifier and Kroma Atelier Thaïs speakers providing such controlled and bottomless bass that more than one visitor touched the Cinnamon Audio DAC thinking it must be a subwoofer! The price of this system came in around £120k, a quarter that of the big system.
Huge thanks to Shunyata’s Richard Rogers for his tireless DJing in this room, taking requests and bringing his positive energy to it across both days. Thanks as well to David Baker of Audio Therapy for playing a 2-hour set on Sunday morning!
Here is the Qobuz playlist we ran in the smaller room for the majority of the event.
Here Shunyata Research’s brand new DELTA-X was on power distribution duty — its first ever public outing — along with the ALTAIRA-X grounding system and a full loom of Shunyata cabling. Visitors here had the chance to say hello to Shunyata’s very own Caelin Gabriel and Richard Rogers, who were visiting the UK for the first time in a decade. It was great to have them over for not just the Audio Show Deluxe, but also in Dublin’s Cloney Audio and London’s KJ West One in the following days for more demos. Huge thanks for making the trip and sharing their knowledge!
Our friends at Symmetry Systems gave visitors a chance to hear even more Shunyata Research and Kroma Atelier. They were using the new EVEREST-X shelf model, full Shunyata cabling, and Kroma’s Jovita speakers. It was great to see the same team still going strong: Mike Valentine of Chasing The Dragon Audiophile Recordings, Matthias Lück of Brinkmann Audio, Jason Ford, and the absolutely incredible Reema, who seems to be getting better and better year by year, nearly bringing the room to tears with a moving performance.

Thanks to everyone for making the show such a success! We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our 10th Anniversary year.
