Audio Show Deluxe 2024 Preview

We’re just over one week away from our first mega show of the year: Audio Show Deluxe at Whittlebury Park 23-24 March! We had a fantastic time last year and this year stands to be even better. If you haven’t already, make sure you book your tickets now. We’re excited to be showcasing some amazing new things, as well as some decorated Boyer classics; you may have heard them before, but never quite like this. Here’s a preview of our show highlights:

World Premiere: Kroma Atelier Matilde & MacBeth

Kroma has been hard at work in their Atelier workshop, and we now have the distinct honour of showcasing two beautiful new speakers for the first time ever: The glorious Matilde and the wonderful standmount MacBeth.

Kroma Atelier made a big statement at least year’s Munich show with their Mercedes floorstanding loudspeakers, while the Mimi was awarded Standmount Speaker of the Year by both hi-fi+ in 2021 and Hificlube in 2022. The new Matilde and MacBeth are reminiscent of those two speakers respectively in stature but - in the case of Matilde - with a smaller price tag than Mercedes, and in the case of the MacBeth, packing a significantly bigger punch in a not-much-bigger package than the Mimi. Expect that beautiful, natural sound that Kroma Atelier is known for.

Kroma Atelier now available in the UK from StudioAV!

Shunyata Research TYPHON T30

So new is the T30 that pictured here is the T2

Brand new from Shunyata Research we will grace our Audio Show Deluxe system with the Typhon T30 power distributor. We will be proudly Powered by Shunyata Research all the way, including power cables, signal cables, the EVEREST power distributor, and of course the ALTAIRA grounding system.

The TYPHON T30 is the ultimate high-current, performance oriented power distributor in Shunyata Research’s lineup. The TYPHON T30 is a hot-rodded version of the acclaimed TYPHON T2 and is specifically designed to improve the performance of the world’s most powerful amplifiers (In our case the massive ERIC Encore power amplifiers by Engström!). The T30 measurably reduces power line noise while dramatically enhancing amplifier power delivery and dynamic range.

Bassocontinuo Revolution-X

We’re delighted to be showcasing a number of Bassocontinuo audio racks and amp stands; notably the REVOLUTION-X which we just recently watched come together through meticulous handcrafting at Bassocontinuo’s carbon fibre workshop near Bergamo, Italy. Lightweight, incredibly strong, and with amazing sound dampening characteristics, these are quite possibly the most technically advanced audio racks we’ve ever come across; calling them the F1 race car of audio racks is no exaggeration.

Engström ARNE, ERIC Encore, MONICA & M-Phono

Having just been awarded hi-fi+’s most prestigious award, we are as thrilled as ever to be showcasing the ARNE Mk2 Integrated Amplifier: 2023’s Product of the Year. We will be occupying the same large room as last year, and it is truly incredible how an amplifier of this stature can command such a space with its pure Scandinavian sound.

But for serious unadulterated power, we also have the ERIC Encore power amplifiers. Powered through the Shunyata TYPHON T30 and powering the Kroma Matilde speakers, we are expecting nothing less than a real feast for the ears. Last but never least, in the rack at the back of the room Engström will provide the MONICA pre-amp and M-Phono.

WADAX: the world’s greatest digital source

We will also be featuring a full Level 4 Wadax Atlantis Reference digital source, comprising Atlantis Reference DAC, Atlantis Reference SERVER, and Reference Power Supply. We absolutely love their styling (like something straight out of The Matrix), truly as beautiful to look at as they are to listen to.

Look forward to seeing you at Whittlebury Park!
